Welcome to the very first entry of Southern Delaware Tourism's blog. This blog's intent is to elaborate on everything Southern Delaware from a visitation perspective. This certainly includes a lot but, then again, we need a lot to keep this blog interesting with fresh material. In the days, weeks and months to come, I look forward to posting comments from my own observations along with special guests. We are fast entering Autumn, my favorite time of year here and that means crisp air, still relatively warm water temperatures, weekend events and festivals, greyhounds, southbound shorebirds, flying pumpkins, apples and scrapple and live jazz. Get out and have fun.

#4. I am considering relocting to Southern Delaware from NC.I am a single mom and all my family is in CT. Unfortunatley CT is too expensive for me to go back. Delaware is closer though, I have been researching DE, and would love to be close to the water. What are some good towns that are close to stores and things to do, good schools.. Dont want to be totally out in the boondocks. Any info would help. Thanks
