13th Annual Spring Beach Ride & Walk

Location: Cape Henlopen State Park, Lewes

The 13th Annual Spring Beach Ride & Walk benefiting Southern Delaware Therapeutic & Recreational Horseback Riding Inc. will begin with registration at 9 am.

The public is invited to bring a horse for a beautiful ride on the beach or their walking shoes to enjoy the paved trails at Cape Henlopen State Park. All proceeds go to Southern Delaware Therapeutic & Recreational Horseback Riding, which provides equine-assisted therapy to children and adults with disabilities.

There will be a fee of $4 for vehicles with Delaware license plates and $8 for out-of-state tages for those who do not have park season passes.

The event will include free lunch and delicious desserts for registrants; prizes for highest fundraiser, tallest hors, youngest and oldest rider and more; raffles for children and adults; and commemorative t-shirts for those who raise $50 or more.
