    Greyhounds Reach the Beach is in its twenty-first year of celebrating greyhounds and greyhound adoption by bringing friends together with their hounds in the seaside communities of Dewey Beach and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on Columbus Day weekend every year. The event features top speakers from the greyhound and sighthound world, including behaviorists, veterinarians, counselors, adoption professionals, and international breed experts.

    The “Art of Remembering” is an art show to benefit the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation and consists of art works produced during a journey through early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. The exhibit includes mandalas and photographs by Ann E. Luquette who experienced Alzheimer’s disease and drawings by her partner and caregiver, Nancy Edwards.
