    Lost off Lewes 2016 DeBraak Tours Southern Delaware TourismThe Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs will offer tours that explore the 18th-century history, artifacts and the surviving hull section of His Majesty’s Sloop DeBraak, a British warship that was escorting and protecting a convoy of merchant ships en route to the United States when it was capsized and lost off the Delaware

    Lewes has multiple different architectural styles and building eras.  This 60-minute tour includes an introduction of the historic district and various stylistic elements, with an emphasis on the Victorian era and the homes of some of the important historic personalities and families of Lewes’s past.

    Enjoy a relaxing and informative one hour boat tour of Trap Pond while viewing its natural beauty and learning about its inhabitants. Space is limited. Unless otherwise stated, trips will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Meet at the boathouse. $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Tours continue through October and themes vary.
