Tuesday, July 28:

A Place to Land, 8:30pm: American University student Lauren DeAngelis examines the difficulties of owning pet parrots by exploring parrot rescue groups, including Virginia based Phoenix Landing.

King Corn, 9:00pm: King Corn is the story of two friends, one acre of corn, and the subsidized crop that drives our fast-food nation.

Wednesday, July 29:

Zoo Vets, 8:30pm: Zoo Vets goes behind the scenes of the National Zoo and shows us the lives and the work of the people who care for the sick animals. A perfect film for the whole family.

Carpa Diem, 9:15pm: This Italian short film vividly illustrates the real, tragic impact of wasting water. Its brief, powerful message will make you think the next time you turn on the faucet.

Where do the Children Play?, 9:20pm: An examination of the socially responsible development principles of open space and its impact an children's mental and physical health and development.
