    Winter can be one of the best times to explore the outdoor wonders of coastal Delaware. Join staff at Delaware Seashore State Park for a series of guided hikes every Sunday in January and February. The series will feature a different location each Sunday and cover a variety of habitats, including the intertidal zone, salt marsh areas and upland forest. In addition, each hike will offer park visitors a unique opportunity to learn about coastal wildlife and local history.

    Free live music event coming to Georgetown! In 1998, Cristina Pato became the first female Gaita player to release a solo album. Since then she has collaborated with world music, jazz, classical and experimental artists, including Chicago Symphony, Yo-Yo Ma, The Chieftains, and Arturo O’Farril. Cristina Pato fuses the influences of Latin music, jazz, pop and contemporary music, and uses her artistry and unprecedented virtuosic skill to bring her musical vision to life.

    Lewes Barkfest Yappy Hour (For Pets & People Who Like to Yap!) The 4th annual Lewes Barkfest Yappy Hour will take place on Friday, February 13 from 5 - 7 pm at Irish Eyes in Lewes on their enclosed, heated porch. This fun event is advertised as a “Yappy Hour” for Pets and People who like to “Yap!” The event is part of a promotion to encourage people to come to Lewes for the weekend nearest to Valentine’s Day to shop for gifts for their special valentines and to celebrate by dining at the many Lewes eating establishments on both sides of the canal bridge.

    THis cooking classes will feature menu items from the Big Fish Restaurant Group: Big Fish Grill, Summerhouse, Salt Air, Crab House, FireStone Roasting House and Bella Coast. They encourage hands-on participation in the preparation of featured menu items. Classes also include a tour of the complex, a whole fish cutting demonstration and tips about purchasing and preparing fresh seafood. Come join the fun and learn how to make your favorite Big Fish dish!

    Plan to shop at the State's Largest Indoor Garage Sale! Merchants' Attic will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Hall, 229 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE. The doors will open promptly at 9:30AM, rain or shine. The hours are 9:30AM to 1:30PM. There is no admission fee; however donations for the benefit of the Chamber Event Fund are welcome.
