    REPEATS WEEKLY on TUES, WED, THURS. Paddle a sit-on-top kayak through the marshes of Rehoboth Bay and catch a unique glimpse of the historic Indian River Life-Saving Station. Along the way, park naturalists will identify the wildlife that makes up this dynamic ecosystem. Participants will receive basic kayaking instruction and all equipment. Pre-registration required.     REPEATS WEEKLY. Learn about the heroic surfmen of the U.S. Life-Saving Service that responded to thousands of shipwrecks along the Atlantic seaboard. These ships carried a variety of cargo-some of which still washes up on the beach today! Learn and use modern-day geocaching techniques to locate “buried treasure” on the beach.     REPEATS WEEKLY. Take a break from the heat and bring your little ones to this indoor program. Learn what makes jellyfish unique and why they are important. See and touch real critters of the bay, including the jellyfish-the non-stinging species of course! Pre-registration required. Please call (302) 227-6991 to register for the program. Ages 3 and up. $4 per child. All children must be accompanied by an adult unless otherwise noted. Limit one adult per child.

    Every Thursday the Town of Bethany Beach has a bonfire on the beach. The town offers free roasting sticks, marshmallows, and glow bracelets (while supplies last).  Bonfires will start around dusk.
