Ed Shockley, Peggy Raley, and Sherman Ward perform music of a sweeter, bygone era as the Eddie Sherman Show. Frontman Sherman Ward and sidekick Ed Shockley have been performing rock, soul, and R&B collectively and individually for more than 30 years. As the 80's rolled in, Ward noticed that the music being produced was deficient in many areas, had little staying power and held no point of interest to him as he listened. Yearning for music with some meaning, he was drawn to the big band era with the magical dynamics of great orchestras and their singers. The music borne of this era fueled the repertoires of performers in nightclubs all across America. He knew he had found his calling. Ward founded The Eddie Sherman Show on the premise of the lost art of the variety show. By inviting other musicians and performers into the mix, a gig was suddenly transformed into a musical showcase.
