    The Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge, held annually on the first Sunday in February, has developed into a truly unique Delaware happening and is Special Olympics Delaware’s most significant fundraiser. Individuals, including many Special Olympics athletes and their family members, take the plunge into the icy Atlantic Ocean during the height of winter! The Special Olympics Delaware Polar Bear Plunge presented by Wawa will celebrate its 25th anniversary on Sunday, Feb. 7 in Rehoboth Beach.

    The Delaware Seaside Railroad Club, located at 32442 Royal Blvd, near 113 & Clayton Ave) in Dagsboro, welcomes visitors to their clubhouse which features multiple interactive layouts, from 10 - 3 p.m. on Saturdays and on Wednesdays from 5 - 8 p.m. Admission is free!

    Meet at the campground pavilion for hay wagon tour. Enjoy hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows at the campfire. Trap Pond wasn't always a park. Come for a ride in our hay wagon and find out about the Native Americans, pioneers, and farmers whowere here before us. $5 per adult, $3 per child under 12. Pre-registration required.     Discover the sounds of nature during this evening walk with a volunteer guide.  Come prepared for the weather and expect frequent stops.  Beginner nature enthusiasts are welcome.  Trips are free and open to the public.  Meet at the refuge office.
