Roady 5K

On Saturday, May 3rd, Delaware Tech's Owens Campus will be hosting it's annual Roady 5K. This family friendly, Cinco De Mayo themed race is open to all whether you run or walk! The race begins at 9am on the Jack F. Owens campus at the Student Services Center Pavilion with registration opening at 8am. Racers can pre-register for the race online at and those who register prior to race day will receive a free t-shirt. This rain or shine event is the place to kick off the 5K season with a Cinco De Mayo twist!

Farmer and Foodie Festival

The Brick Hotel on the Circle, located in Georgetown, Delaware, will host its 4th Annual Farmer & Foodie Festival at The Brick property, as well as on The Circle that houses it. The festival will feature a variety of vendors and events from 12 noon until 4:00 pm, and admission is Free.

Amateur Radio and Electronics Expo

Ham Radio operators and electronics enthusiasts will gather at Sussex Technical High School in Georgetown on October 26 for the annual Amateur Radio & Electronics EXPO. The event, often referred to as a “Hamfest”, features equipment displays, demonstrations, and forums that focus on advances in technology and radio communications. The EXPO will be held at Sussex Technical High School located at 17099 County Seat Highway (Route 9), west of Georgetown. The gates open at 6:00 AM for the flea market and doors to the EXPO open at 7:30 AM. Admission is only $5.00.
