Meet a naturalist at the campground pavilion in Trap Pond State Park, then get your blood pumping with a hike around Trap Pond. FREE.
Take an in-depth tour of the renovated Bethesda Church. See before and after pictures and learn the importance of small churches in local history. Meet at the Bethesda Church. Free.
Hike in a winter wonderland (Barnes Woods.) Bring warm clothes and comfortable shoes. Meet at the Trap Pond Nature Center and we will drive to Barnes Woods for a 45 minute hike. Total program time will be approximately 2 1/2 hours. Call 302-875-5163 by February 11th to pre-register.
Meet at the campground pavilion for hay wagon tour. Enjoy hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows at the campfire. Trap Pond wasn't always a park. Come for a ride in our hay wagon and find out about the Native Americans, pioneers, and farmers whowere here before us. $5 per adult, $3 per child under 12. Pre-registration required.
