Exhibit at Zwaanendael Museum
utilizes artifacts recovered from His Majesty's Sloop of War DeBraak, a British warship that sank off the Delaware coast on May 25, 1798 to tell the story of the vessel, its crew and the historical context within which it operated in the Atlantic World of the late 18th century.
The Milton Historical Society
presents a new exhibit "Paradise Frost: Milton's Frozen History."
The exhibit explores a number of topics related to the theme of frozen--including the ice harvesting industry of the early twentieth century, led by notable Miltonian James "Handy" Prettyman and ice cream manufacturing. Artifacts span the 18th through 20th centuries. Through May 29th.
