    Enjoy a unique, guided tour by lantern light of the circa-1876 Indian River Life Saving Station Museum. Learn what surfmen went through to save shipwreck victims off the Delaware coast and then venture over the dune to patrol the beach and listen to local shipwreck tales. Pre-registration required. $10 pp.

    50th Annual Great Delaware Kite Festival at Cape Henlopen State Park 

    The Great Delaware Kite Festival, co-sponsored by the Lewes Chamber of Commerce and the Delaware Division of Parks and Recreation, takes place at Cape Henlopen State Park. Celebrate spring at Kite Day and enjoy kite-flying contests, an Easter egg hunt, kite and food vendors, and fun for all ages. For more information, call the park office at 302-645-8983. To participate in festival contests, contact the Lewes Chamber of Commerce at 302-645-8073. Park entrance fees will be in effect.

    Have you always wanted to try surf fishing but weren't sure how to get started? If so, this program is for you! Everything from fish identification to proper casting techniques will be covered in this three hour program. Rods, reels and bait are provided.     Presented by NV Homes and Ryan Homes, The Quiet Resorts Charitable Foundation (QRCF) is pleased to announce the fifth annual Bunny Palooza! on Saturday, April 15, the Saturday morning before Easter.  Bunny Palooza! is a 10K run or 5K run/walk to benefit the QRCF’s scholarship and grant programs.  The races begin on Parkwood Avenue and Atlantic Avenue in downtown Bethany Beach and will end on the Bethany Beach Boardwalk.  The 10k begins at 8:30am; the 5k at 9:30am.
