    Journey through Lewes’s salty past while learning of the explorers who first put Lewes on the map, the pirates that sailed the local waters, and the brave United States Life-Saving Servicemen who rescued victims from perilous shipwrecks. This 60-minute walking tour includes admission to both the Lewes Life-Saving Station and the Cannonball House Maritime Museum (availability to buildings may be based on restoration projects).

    Join a knowledgeable Lewes Historical Society guide on board the Cape Water Tours for a cruise along Lewes's waterways. Journey back in time into Lewes’s maritime past. Hear about the important role of the Delaware Breakwater and the history of its construction. Get an up close photographic opportunity of the 1855 East End Lighthouse, a long-time local landmark.

    Have you ever wondered how to make beautiful paper ornaments?  Join Theresa Dattilo as she teaches the art of quilling, a type of ornamental craftwork involving the shaping of paper, fabric, or glass into delicate pleats or folds.  The class is $20 and covers the cost of supplies.  Reservations should be made by Tuesday, September 19.
