    Sunday, April 22 - Birding Field Trip - 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.  Led by volunteer birding guides, beginner and experienced bird watchers will enjoy observing and learning about the bird species frequenting the refuge at this time of year.  Come prepared for the weather and expect to walk up to a mile.  Bring your binoculars, a field guide, and spotting scope (the leader will have spotting scopes also). Binoculars will be available to borrow. Meet at the refuge office. Trips are free, open to the public, and last approximately three hours.

    SPECIAL SCREENING OF LOVE & BANANAS: AN ELEPHANT STORY On Tuesday, April 24th, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater will present, in celebration of Earth Day, LOVE & BANANAS: AN ELEPHANT STORY, an incredible documentary about the noble work of elephant conservationists in Thailand. Director Ashley Bell and a team of elephant rescuers, led by world renowned Asian elephant conservationist Sangdeaun Lek Chailert, embark on a daring 48-hour mission 500 miles across Thailand to rescue Noi Na, a 70-year old captive blind Asian elephant, and bring her to freedom.

Our goal is fostered by providing a representation of all gauges of layouts at our Club House located at Clayton’s Crossing in Dagsboro (Rt. 113 & Clayton St.).
