    Historically and even today, ship-to-ship communication is a language all its own. Explore the history and meanings behind the International Signal Code then paint your own Nautical Flag message on a piece of discarded park picnic table or boardwalk to display in your home. Preregistration required. Ages 10 and up. $20 per person

    SWING JUNCTION…It's a Swing Thing, will recreate the music of the best swing bands including the classic songs within the great American songbook and songs from the newer neo-swing movement (Big Bad Vodoo Daddy, Brian Setzer, Royal Crown Revue) etc . What you can count on is that all the music presented will have a strong danceable groove along with lots of space for dancing.

     Join DNREC is kicking off American Wetlands Month with the 2nd annual Wetlands Celebration Day at Trap Pond State Park on Saturday, May 5 from 9 am to 2 pm. The first 150 vehicles will receive free admission, and they days activities include free boat tours, canoe rentals, activities, bike rally, hiking, and more!

    The Train & Toy Show will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 9am to 3pm. The event will be held at the Roxana Firehouse; 35943 Zion Church Rd, Frankford DE 19945. Admission is $5.00 and children 10 and under are free. Over 70 Vendors will be present to sell their model train and toys and in addition there will be operating layouts, an auction, door prizes, and refreshments.
