    The 3rd, 4th and 5th Marine Divisions attacked the small island of Iwo Jima in February 1945, 73 years ago. Theirbattle was to take no more than three days but lasted more than a month withover 6800 US Marines killed and over 20,000 Japanese soldiers. It was the firstAmerican attack on Japanese soil; the great American sacrifice and thefanatical Japanese defense did much to determine months later the droppingof the two atomic bombs.

    The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a 1975 musical comedy horror film directed by Jim Sharman. The screenplay was written by Sharman and Richard O'Brien based on the 1973 musical stage production The Rocky Horror Show, music, book, and lyrics by O'Brien. The production is a parody tribute to the science fiction and horror B movies of the 1930s through to the early 1970s. The film stars Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, O'Brien himself, and Barry Bostwick along with cast members from the original Royal Court Theatre, Roxy Theatre, and Belasco Theatre productions.

    Join the Easter Bunny and friends for an Easter Tea that is great for all ages. This interactive tea party includes light refreshments and heavy fun served table side. Characters sing, dance and tell stories all while engaging the entire audience. A meet and greet with the Easter Bunny will allow participants to snap a photo next to their favorite characters. Hot and cold tea or water, goldfish, cookies, cheese balls and more will be on the menu. Venue: Milton Theatre.

    Learn about three heroic women of the 20th century with our Documentary Film Series. Dolores Wednesday, March 28 at 6 pm Georgetown Public Library, 123 W. Pine St., Georgetown, DE Dolores Huerta co-founded the United Farm Workers and has spent her life as a labor organizer, civil rights advocate and women’s rights activist. This documentary film about the woman who coined the farmworkers’ famous slogan, “Sí, se puede”—Spanish for “yes, we can”—chronicles her evolution from a young woman outraged by economic and social injustices into an outspoken champion for the downtrodden.
