Produced to acclaim in New York, London and Los Angeles, The Normal Heart follows Ned Weeks, a gay activist enraged at the indifference of public officials and the gay community. While trying to save the world from itself, he confronts the personal toll of AIDS when his lover dies of the disease.

    Milton Arts Guild continues it's commitment to the Arts in our Schools by partnering with Cape Henlopen High School art students for this special exhibition.  A Celebration of the Arts showcases student art.  This is a judged exhibition where deserving students are awarded monetary prizes for their art work.  Students who are seniors are encouraged to enter as their works will be considered for scholarships awarded each year by the Milton Arts Guild.   The reception is free to the public with light refreshments provided.

    This three session student-centered experience will look at both the current realities and possible remedies around economic inequality in the United States today. Students will be involved in diagnostic analysis and prescriptive solution building. The teaching materials will be centered on Robert Reich’s documentary "Inequality For All," using additional materials from the instructor's recent Osher course on "Designing a Sustainable Future: A New Economy as if People Mattered."
