    Transcendental Jam Session. Donations will be taken at the door. Complimentary vegetarian feast. Kirtan is a form of devotional chanting whose roots go back over 5000 years to India. It is a form of Bhakti Yoga (yoga of devotion) and has the power to open the heart. The singing is accompanied by musical instruments and rhythmic drumming and the audience is encouraged to participate by chanting, clapping, and dancing. You will not be able to resist the urge to join in! In its heartfelt expression kirtan can induce profound states of meditation, bliss, and ecstasy. Venue: Milton Theatre.

    “Made in Milton” Exhibit Opening

    From quilts to watercolor and acrylic paints, the residents of Milton have a knack for crafting beautiful, intricate and handmade items for decoration and home use.  This exhibit will highlight these talented novice and professional artisans from 1859-2018.

    Our Musical Theatre Ensemble (MTE) classes will focus on each of the three main concentrations of musical theater; voice, dance, and acting. Great emphasis will be placed on recognizing the relevance of each discipline as it relates to musical theater and preparing students for auditions and musical theatre performances. Each class period will be devoted to- 1) vocal development, 2) improving acting skills, 3) learning choreography; all to help students develop musical theatre skills.

    What:           LOVE LETTERS by A.R. Gurney is a play that chronicles a 50- year relationship of childhood friends. The friendship develops into a star-crossed romance and is told through a series of letters, postcards and correspondence that reflects the characters’ hopes, dreams, ambitions, victories, disappointments and defeats.

    CAMP Rehoboth is excited to present Last Summer at Bluefish Cove, a play by Jane Chambers. It is important in lesbian theater history as the first mainstream literary piece of its kind. It is the story of a dissatisfied straight woman who leaves her husband to spend some quiet time by herself and who unwittingly and naively wanders into the midst of a group of seven lesbians at the beginning of their annual beachside vacation. She falls in love with the charming leading character who, unknown to her, is dying of cancer.

    Saturdays, January 27 and February 24 1 p.m. Journey through the park with a naturalist and explore how sand dunes are the first line of defense for our beach ecosystem. Discover recent coastal storm damage and erosion history, plus learn how to identify the plants that keep it all together. You will even receive your very own plug of American beach grass to plant in our dunes! Pre-registration required. Ages 8 and up. $5 per person.
