    The Lewes Historical Society Collectibles Sale & Historic Chocolate Making Demonstration will be held on Saturday, February 24 from 10:00am-4:00pm


    Stop in at the Historic Rabbit’s Ferry House (at the Historic Complex 110 Shipcarpenter Street, Lewes DE 19958) for a sweet treat! Enjoy free historic chocolate-making demonstrations and samples given by team of LHS volunteer living history interpreters in period costume.

    Saturdays, January 27 and February 24 1 p.m. Journey through the park with a naturalist and explore how sand dunes are the first line of defense for our beach ecosystem. Discover recent coastal storm damage and erosion history, plus learn how to identify the plants that keep it all together. You will even receive your very own plug of American beach grass to plant in our dunes! Pre-registration required. Ages 8 and up. $5 per person.

The friendship develops into a star-crossed romance and is told through a series of letters, postcards and correspondence that reflects the characters’ hopes, dreams, ambitions, victories, disappointments and defeats.

    Get ready for another evening of rolling good fun with irreverent improv adult comedy that is based on audience suggestion in the style of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”! You can play an active part on this interactive comedy as the historic Milton Theatre presents the Delaware Comedy Theatre. Make sure you come with the spirit of spontaneity as you might just find yourself on stage with the cast! Delaware Comedy Theatre, formed in Spring 2005, is a non-profit theatre company bringing professional comedy improvisation training and performance to the Lewes, Rehoboth and Dewey Beach areas.

    On Sunday, February 25th Crooked Hammock will host the Beer Drinker’s Choice Awards. Almost every brewery in Delaware will compete for the 2018 BDCA Belt and you get to decide who that is! 18 different breweries will compete in three categories including Best Beer, Most Unique Beer, and Best Costume. You will even get a chance to roast a member of last years winner, Mispillion Brewery! Tickets are $29 online and $35 at the door.
