    The Rehoboth Beach Film Society is pleased to continue its’ Jewish Film Festival series.   Listed below are the films and their screening dates and times.  All screenings are held at the Cinema Art Theater.

  • March 22, 2018 - 5:00pm

    Enjoy a sneak peak into the private collection of RAL's Artistic Director at his home in Washington, DC. Compiled over the course of many years, this array of contemporary art includes pieces from Alexander Calder, Chris Martin, Kendall Messick, Rebecca Raubacher, Duane Rieder, Roger Ballen, Todd James, and many more! An evening of light appetizers and drinks will be coupled with a walkthrough of the collection. Guests will also have the opportunity to mingle with a few of the artists whose work is represented. The cost is $35.00/person (tax deductible). Limited to 25 people.

    Transcendental Jam Session. Donations will be taken at the door. Complimentary vegetarian feast. Kirtan is a form of devotional chanting whose roots go back over 5000 years to India. It is a form of Bhakti Yoga (yoga of devotion) and has the power to open the heart. The singing is accompanied by musical instruments and rhythmic drumming and the audience is encouraged to participate by chanting, clapping, and dancing. You will not be able to resist the urge to join in! In its heartfelt expression kirtan can induce profound states of meditation, bliss, and ecstasy. Venue: Milton Theatre.

    In 2001, Deanna visited a hypnotherapist for assistance with weight loss. That evening, after the hypnosis was complete, she began to see Spirit for the first time. Since that time, Deanna has been working to improve her ability to connect and help the Living come to know that their People in Spirit are very much still a part of their lives and to know that we continue on beyond our physical existence. ​Prior to beginning her work as an Evidential Medium, Deanna worked in the banking industry.

    The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a 1975 musical comedy horror film directed by Jim Sharman. The screenplay was written by Sharman and Richard O'Brien based on the 1973 musical stage production The Rocky Horror Show, music, book, and lyrics by O'Brien. The production is a parody tribute to the science fiction and horror B movies of the 1930s through to the early 1970s. The film stars Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, O'Brien himself, and Barry Bostwick along with cast members from the original Royal Court Theatre, Roxy Theatre, and Belasco Theatre productions.

    Join the Easter Bunny and friends for an Easter Tea that is great for all ages. This interactive tea party includes light refreshments and heavy fun served table side. Characters sing, dance and tell stories all while engaging the entire audience. A meet and greet with the Easter Bunny will allow participants to snap a photo next to their favorite characters. Hot and cold tea or water, goldfish, cookies, cheese balls and more will be on the menu. Venue: Milton Theatre.
