    The Rehoboth Beach Film Society is proud to present the Metropolitan Opera’s live broadcast of Gaetano Donizetti’s bewitching comedy L’ELISIR D’AMORE on Saturday, February 17 at 1:00 PM, Monday, February 19 at 1:00 PM and Tuesday, February 20 at 6:30 PM. Please note that screenings are now being held at the Cinema Art Theater and will be shown as a recorded presentation one week after being filmed live. Audience members will allowed to eat and drink concessions sold onsite in the Theater. They will also appreciate the wonderful sound quality, as well as the comfortable seats.

     Saturdays, January 13 and February 17 10 a.m. There’s more than shells washing up on our Delaware beaches. See some of the historic artifacts that have been found on our beaches and what still washes up today. Learn what you can do to help our Cultural Resources Team preserve our maritime heritage should you ever come across a relic from the past during your beachcombing explorations. With Delaware’s rich maritime history, you never know what could wash up next. Preregistration required. Ages 8 and up. $5 per person

    Artist Kim Klabe will be at the Peninsula Gallery from 12-4pm on February 17th and from 12-2pm on the 18th demonstrating her wine/beer pour art. Wine pours are made by pouring wine or dark beer on to watercolor paper, letting the liquid dry, then using markers and colored pencils to transform the stain into wildly abstract and often politically charged art. Come in to watch her artistic process and view her pieces.

     Saturdays, January 13, February 17 1 p.m. Beachcombing is an exciting activity for many visitors to the park, but have you ever wondered, “Is it okay to take that cool finding home?” Join a park interpreter for a discussion on how you can become a “New Age Beachcomber” by learning how to identify the shells that wash up on our beaches, as well as some simple practices that will help ensure that these beach treasures will be there for future generations to discover and enjoy. Pre-registration required. Ages 8 and up. $5 per person
