The Brick Hotel on the Circle, located in Georgetown, Delaware, will host its 4th Annual Farmer & Foodie Festival at The Brick property, as well as on The Circle that houses it. The festival will feature a variety of vendors and events from 12 noon until 4:00 pm, and admission is Free.
Farmers and Food Artisans alike will be participating with many returning from previous years. Several have graciously donated items such as pumpkins for children to decorate, straw for scarecrow making, and more. Farmers Market vendors will also be present, offering their products for sale. Applications are still being taken for interested farmers, producers and local artisans; the requirement for the latter is that products must be handmade, not manufactured.
Among the many activities at The Farmer & Foodie Festival are Horse & Carriage rides sponsored by AP Croll & Son, Hay Rides sponsored by Baxter Farms, Inc., live entertainment sponsored by Kings Crop Insurance, face painting, and more. In addition, The Brick’s Circle Side Garden, will house a beer garden featuring Georgetown’s local brewery, 16-Mile Brewing Company, as well as live entertainment with Lisa Says No.
