I love to use oil paints because of the luminosity that I can achieve." … Bill Patterson MAG is very excited to offer a special 3-day workshop with our own Bill Patterson. On February 5, 6, & 7 from 1:00-4:00pm at 310 Walnut Street, Bill will introduce students to the classic world of Oil Painting. Student fee - $110, paint & canvas provided. Artists should bring their own brushes. A suggested supply list will be sent after you register. Class size is limited to 10 students so register today. Bill is actively involved in the arts. An 8 year-old Bill painted a portrait of Abraham Lincoln, and that started a lifetime dedicated to improving his artistic talents. Bill received formal training from Rowan University, University of the Arts and Nelson Shank’s Studio Incamminati. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Art Education and a Masters Degree in Teaching. He loves to impart knowledge to others, especially when they have that "AHA Moment" and realize "I get this." A recipient of numerous awards and commissions for his work, it’s not unusual to see Bill with his camera and paintbrushes in hand, scouting his next artistic endeavor.
