The stage production of It's A Wonderful LIfe is based on the beloved Frank Capra cinema masterpiece, which first appeared in movie theaters in 1946, and is centered around the life of George Bailey and his grand plans to travel the world and "build great things." However, circumstances beyond his control and his self-sacrificing lifestyle keeps pulling George back to the small town of Bedford Falls. Finally, on one Christmas Eve, everything around him collapses and he finds himself standing on a bridge contemplating ending his own life. Only the intervention of Angel Second Class Clarence Oddbody, who shows George what the world would be like if he had never been born, makes George realize just how wonderful his life truly is.
