    Take a step back through time and explore the history of Life in Lewes. This 60-minute walking tour will guide you through select historic buildings at the Lewes Historical Society Campus where you will get to see how Lewes grew from a small Dutch settlement to a bustling seashore town.

    Lewes is rich with historic happenings, legends, and tall-tales, many of them involving a touch of the paranormal. From the founding of Lewes in 1631 and the massacre of its settlement the following year, to the unknown sailors’ cemetery at the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, some residents never seem to depart. This 90-minute walking tour will introduce you to stories of strange happenings in the town of Lewes and visit the Ryves Holt House, and enter one of the most haunted places in Delaware the Cannonball House.

    Enjoy a relaxing and informative one hour boat tour of Trap Pond while viewing its natural beauty and learning about its inhabitants. Space is limited. Unless otherwise stated, trips will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Meet at the boathouse. $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Tours continue through October and themes vary.     Special Sea Witch Weekend Jolly Trolley Tours. Two tours, one at 9 a.m. and another at 11 a.m. A great tour of our downtown area with a stop at the Rehoboth Beach Museum.  Meets at the Anna Hazzard House at 17 Christian Street. $10 per person. Reservations are required.
