Baltimore-based artist Chloe Irla maintains an interdisciplinary studio practice grounded in both traditional and alternative approaches to painting. The “Year One” series visualizes data collected throughout her daughter’s first year of life: The time of each nursing session, pumping session, nightly sleep and morning wake-up time, nap, diaper, bath, bottle, and solid food acceptance. Through this body of work her aim is to make the invisible labor of parenthood visible. This exhibition will take place in the Ventures Gallery, located on RAL's historic Henlopen Acres campus. An artist's reception will take place on April 6, 2018 from 5-7pm. Venue: Rehoboth Art League.
