    Philadelphia area native Christine Havrilla, after embarking on an ambitious new journey with her Gypsy Fuzz project in late 2011, is releasing a series of "Live Sessions" into 2016 which will include long-time fan favorites as well as new songs with her current band, Gypsy Fuzz. Recording in numerous settings such as venues, living rooms, a recording studio with an live audience, in an old church, etc...these volumes will capture the spontaneous energy, soul-felt vibes and musical adventures that Christine brings to the stage, ANY stage!

    Please join the participating restaurants listed below Monday-Friday May 7th-11th, they are each open daily, and welcome you for a 3 course meal at just $18.  Each restaurant will also be giving away a featured drink for just $5 in a special logo'd stadium cup for you to keep, it is still Dewey Beach after all so tying in a fun featured drink, craft beer, or whichever each place features is a must!  We hope you'll enjoy dining with us that week as we prepare to kick off a spectacular summer season...once the temperatures get back up to where they are supposed to be!!

    Tuesday, May 8 - Birding Field Trip - 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.  Led by volunteer birding guides, beginner and experienced bird watchers will enjoy observing and learning about the bird species frequenting the refuge at this time of year.  Come prepared for the weather and expect to walk up to a mile.  Bring your binoculars, a field guide, and spotting scope (the leader will have spotting scopes also). Binoculars will be available to borrow. Meet at the refuge office.

    Tuesday, May 8 - An Evening at the Hook Lecture Series-A Meeting of Migrations - 7:00p.m. – 8:00p.m.  Please join us in viewing the Michael Oates production to raise awareness and understanding about the ecological connection between horseshoe crabs and shorebirds migrating through the Delaware Bay area.
