Rehoboth Beach: 

4th of July Fireworks: A don't-miss display. In fact, one of the best displays in the State of Delaware!

Sea Witch Halloween & Fiddlers Festival - This much looked-forward-to October festival has been named among America’s 100 Best Events numerous times over the years by the American Bus Association and was named one of the 10 Best Fall Festivals for Families in 2014 by Family Vacation Critic, among many other kudos. 

Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival - The annual Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival takes place in October and features the best in Smooth Jazz entertainment and has for well over two decades.

Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival - The Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival (RBIFF) each November is the oldest and largest event of its kind in the State of Delaware. Now in its 20th year, the award winning RBIFF has developed into a mid-Atlantic fall destination event for film enthusiasts from more than fifteen states. The nine+ day event is held every November and offers a wide variety of American and international features, documentaries, and short films.

Beach Goes Blue - New in 2016, this annual June event in Rehoboth Beach features a focus on blue food, music (the Blues, of course), blue shoe sprints, walks & runs, after dark blue beach glow, and lots more! 

Rehoboth Beach Chocolate Festival - At this popular Spring festival attendees enjoy chocolate treats prepared by local food industry professionals.

Rehoboth Beach Museum - Our exhibits show the history of having fun at the beach. Vintage bathing suits, post cards, photos and maps are on display. We have changing exhibits, too. Sand pails, surf boards and archaeological artifacts have all been on display. Why not visit? Little hands are welcome and the museum is handicap accessible. Admission is by donation, so it’s affordable, too. And if you’re looking for a great memento of your trip to Rehoboth Beach, our gift shop has lots of options. Whether you are a local, a longtime visitor, or on your first vacation to our beautiful city by the sea, the museum is a wonderful place to be.

Dewey Beach:

Greyhounds Reach the Beach & Golden Jubilees: Delaware loves dogs! We love 'em every day, but there are some special events focused specifically on our four legged friends too. Check them out! Greyhounds reach the beach in October, Goldens meet twice a year in Spring and Fall.

Elvis Festival - This is a fall festival unlike any you've ever seen - a ton of Elvis impersonators!

Running of the Bull - On the Saturday that falls between July 7th and 13th (when the Festival of San Fermin is held in Pamplona, Spain) people of various states of mind, from the brave to the weird to the just plain drunk, gather at The Starboard in Dewey Beach, Delaware, to run with the Bull. Dressed in the traditional Pamplona white clothing and red bandanas (and the less traditional bikini tops, kilts, clown wigs, and whatever they feel like), the bull runners meet at the Starboard in the early morning hours (which run from 11 AM to 1:30 PM in Dewey) on the appointed day, where they enjoy beverages, loud music, and general pre-run festivities (like the meeting and greeting of the Bull, but mostly just beverages and loud music). At 2 PM, the Run officially begins.

Zap Amateur World Skimboarding Championships & Summer Vibes Fest - A multi-day festival each August highlighting the Southern Delaware beach culture and summer spirit through Skimboarding, Skateboarding, Stand Up Paddle, Music, and Art!

Delaware Seashore State Park - Six miles of ocean and bay shoreline. Water, water everywhere describes Delaware Seashore State Park. Bounded on the east by the mighty Atlantic Ocean, and on the west by Rehoboth Bay and Indian River Bay, the 2825-acre park is a beach-goer's delight.
