Join DNREC is kicking off American Wetlands Month with the 2nd annual Wetlands Celebration Day at Trap Pond State Park on Saturday, May 5 from 9 am to 2 pm. The first 150 vehicles will receive free admission, and they days activities include free boat tours, canoe rentals, activities, bike rally, hiking, and more!
The Nanticoke River Arts Council will be hosting their annual Fundraiser on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 2-6pm in the Bald Cypress Nature Center at Trap Pond State Park. $50 ticket includes complimentary wine or beer, dinner, assorted desserts, silent auction, display & sale of members artwork, live entertainment by Keith Mack. All proceeds benefit the Nanticoke River Arts Council, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the promoting the arts in western Sussex County.
